It lets you use your fingerprint to sign in to Windows and quickly access password-protected websites and applications, reducing the need to remember or type complex passwords.
Key features:
- One-touch fingerprint sign-in for Windows logon and supported websites
- Encrypted password vault with secure storage of credentials
- Simple enrollment wizard with support for multiple fingers
- Browser integration for streamlined website logins (commonly Internet Explorer and Firefox at the time of release)
- Backup and restore options for credentials and settings
Notes:
- Requires a compatible HP notebook with an integrated fingerprint sensor and appropriate drivers.
- Originally optimized for Windows 7 on supported HP systems.
- Fingerprints are stored as encrypted templates, not images, and remain on the local device.
